Company Overview:
Al-Isnad is an ijazah accredited 5-6 year study programme which aims to familiarise students with major authentic Islamic works. We want to ensure that through this programme we educate individuals and help them in developing themselves as well-rounded and grounded students.

We aim to continue the centuries old tradition of learning from classical texts for our future imams and provide an opportunity to those individuals who may not be able to study abroad at Islamic institutions.

Overview:
You’re already a regular attendee of Al-Isnad and know how well our events and activities are running and the impact it is making to the local and wider community. We are seeking a highly organised and dynamic Events Project Manager to join our team. As an Events Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. We’re a volunteer-powered organisation, from across the UK, united by a passion to provide transformational teaching to every single student. This is a voluntary role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Coordination:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for events, outlining timelines, tasks, and resource requirements.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the event are well-planned and executed.
  2. Budget Management:
    • Create and manage event budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
    • Negotiate and secure contracts with vendors, venues, and other event-related services to optimize costs.
  3. Venue Selection and Logistics:
    • Conduct site visits to potential event venues and make recommendations based on the event requirements.
    • Manage logistics, including transportation, audio/visual equipment, and other technical needs.
  4. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Act as the main point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external vendors.
    • Provide regular updates and communicate effectively to ensure all stakeholders are well-informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
    • Anticipate and resolve issues to ensure the smooth execution of events.
  6. On-Site Event Management:
    • Oversee on-site event logistics, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
    • Ensure that the event runs smoothly and according to the established plan.
  7. Post-Event Evaluation:
    • Conduct post-event evaluations to analyse the success of the event and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
    • Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators and event metrics.
