Book of Purification – Fiqh Level 2

OVERVIEW:

Level 2 Fiqh builds on from Manhaj al-Salikin of Sh Ibn al-Sa’di. It is a more detailed study of the Book of Purification (Kitab al-Taharah) from a Hanbali fiqh text and a hadith text:

1. ‘Umdat al-Talib by Mansur al-Bahuti
2. Bulugh al-Maram by Ibn Hajar

WHAT WE WILL COVER:

• A full reading of the books in Arabic with English translation
• A brief commentary on each book discussing the major points
• A look at the narrators of hadith where applicable
• An ijazah (chain of transmission) to the authors for in-person attendance

DAY ONE:

• Session 1: 10am – Dhuhr
• Lunch Break
• Session 2: 2:30 – 4:30
• Break for Maghrib
• Session 3: Maghrib – 6pm

DAY TWO:

• Session 1: 10am – Dhuhr
• Lunch Break
• Session 2: Asr – Maghrib
• Break for Maghrib
• Session 3: Maghrib – 6pm
